The **Design** tab holds the colours, type and shapes your customs are built
from. Think of it as your starting point — see
[Applying a brand](/en/customs/brand/applying-a-brand/) for how it reaches a
custom.

## Two colours, one palette

**Primary color** is the action colour: buttons, hero numbers, selected answers
and the main chart series.

**Secondary color** is the supporting one: eyebrows, badges, tinted panels and
the second chart series.

From those two, Custom One builds a **palette** — the sequence charts, badges
and accents draw from across the quiz, the result page, the watch page and your
emails. You pick two colours; the rest follows.

## Fonts

**Heading font** and **Body font** come from the same library the page editor
uses. Headings carry your character; body type mostly needs to stay readable, so
it's usually worth being conservative there.

## Buttons and corners

**Buttons** are rounded, pill or square.

**Corners** sets how round the cards on a result page are — sharp, soft or
round.

## What Design does *not* control

Anything a visitor's own answers change. Which clip they see, which result page
they land on, what their call to action says — all of that lives in the custom
itself, not in the brand. Design decides the look those things are drawn in,
never what they say.
