**Leads** is the table of everyone in one custom, however they arrived. One row
per person; the columns are your custom's own fields — their details, their
answers, and anything else you've added.

## However they arrived

A quiz used to be the only way into a custom. It isn't any more. **Sources** —
the tab just above this one — is where you connect the other ways, and **Add a
source** lives there:

| Source | What it is |
|---|---|
| **Quiz** | someone answered your questions |
| **Webhook** | another tool sends people as they arrive |
| **CSV** | a spreadsheet of people you already have |
| **Manual** | you added someone by hand |

Whichever way someone arrives, what they bring with them is matched onto your
custom's questions — a spreadsheet column or a field from another tool becomes
what a quiz answer would have been. Everything after that works the same way.

The **Source** column tells you which route each person took.
