**Test a video** makes one real video for one person, so you can watch what your
custom actually sends before anyone receives it. The button is in the Record
room's top bar.

It is not a preview. It runs your draft the same way a real visitor's video is
run, so what you watch is what they would get.

## Choose who it is for

Three ways, and they all answer one question — what did this person reply?

- **Answer the quiz** — fill the form in yourself. The dice in the corner fills
every answer with a plausible person, if you would rather start from something
  and change a line.
- **Pick a lead** — someone who already came through your custom. Their real
answers, so you see what they saw.
- **Generate a person** — invent one and go straight to the button.

Before you start it, **see their clips** lists what will play at each moment and
flags anything with no match, or not yet recorded. An unrecorded clip stops the
test — film it, then come back.

## While it is being made

You can close the window and keep working. We tell you when it is ready, and the
button in the Record room carries a mark while anything is still being made.

**Your test videos** keeps every run — who it was for, how long ago, and where it
has got to. From there you can watch a finished one, cancel one that is still
going, try a failed one again, or drop it off the list.

## Nothing leaves your account

A test video is yours alone. Nobody is added to **Leads**, no confirmation email,
follow-up or webhook goes out, and nothing is reported to your ad tools. The
contact details you type are never written to — which matters, because an
invented address can belong to a real person.

So to check that a link, a pixel or an email really works, use your custom's
public link instead.

## How many you get

Each workspace gets a number of test videos per billing cycle, and the number
depends on your plan. Test videos count against this allowance only, never
against your plan's video quota. The test window shows how many you have left,
and offers **Get more** when you run out.

A test you cancel does not count against it.

Because the allowance is counted per workspace, a plan with more workspaces has
more test videos in total.
