Everything here is on **Workspace settings → Billing**. **Upgrade plan** opens the
plan chooser; **Billing info → Manage** holds cancellation.

## Moving up

Upgrades take effect immediately. You're charged the difference for the rest of
your current period rather than a full month, and the chooser shows you that
figure — **Total due today** — before you confirm.

Your new, higher limit applies at once. If you'd already gone over your old
limit, moving up absorbs that: those videos stop counting as extra.

## Moving down

Downgrades wait for the end of your current billing period. You keep the plan
you're paying for until then, and a banner reminds you:

> You're on Growth until 14 Mar. After that, you'll switch to Starter.

Changed your mind? **Keep Growth** cancels the scheduled change and nothing
happens.

Before you confirm, the chooser warns you if your current pace doesn't fit the
smaller plan — how many videos you've used, what the new plan includes, and how
many extra you'd be paying for each month at that rate.

:::caution[A smaller plan may cost more if you still pay per extra video]
If your subscription still has **Allow overage**, extra videos cost more per
video on lower plans, so going past your limit regularly can make the smaller
plan the more expensive one. Lead packs cost the same on every plan.

### If the smaller plan holds fewer workspaces

Plans differ in how many workspaces they allow. If yours has more than the plan
you're moving to, you have to say which ones stay active — the chooser asks, and
you can change your mind with **Edit selection** any time before the downgrade
lands.

The rest are **archived**, not deleted. An archived workspace is read-only: its
customs stop taking new people, but everything in it is still there. Move back up
later and they come back automatically, as many as the new plan has room for.

If a downgrade happens without you choosing — because a payment lapsed, say — we
keep the workspaces that look most active and archive the rest, then email you
about it.

## Cancelling

**Billing info → Manage → Cancel subscription**. You keep everything until the
end of the period you've already paid for.

Before you confirm, we show exactly what will be charged: any extra videos, any
SMS, and any unpaid invoices. If there's nothing outstanding, it says so.

Lead packs aren't touched by cancelling: their leads stay usable until each pack
expires, and while one is valid your customs stay online after the period ends.
See [lead packs](/en/settings/plan-and-billing/lead-packs/).

Changed your mind before the period ends? **Reactivate** on the billing page puts
things back with no gap.

## Coming back afterwards

Once the period ends, the page reads **Subscription ended** — or **Free plan with
lead packs**, while you still have a valid pack, with **Upgrade** to pick a plan.
**Re-subscribe** puts you back on a plan — usually with the card we already have,
so there's no checkout to go through.

A new subscription has no charge per extra video: past your plan, leads come
from lead packs.

Your customs, people, clips and result pages are all still there.
