Delivery
Delivery is what a custom sends after someone comes through: a note saying their answers arrived, and the link to their personalised video once it’s ready. Up to three messages — two emails and a text.
None of it is compulsory. Turn it all off and your customs still work; the results still exist, and you can hand them to your own tools instead with outbound webhooks.
Two things to know before you rely on it. Delivery settings belong to a published version, so a change you don’t publish reaches nobody. And text messages are charged per message, so they stay off until you switch SMS on for your workspace.
Emails go out from a Custom One address until you send from your own domain — see Email domains.
- What gets sent — the three messages, and why none of them is compulsory.
- When each one goes out — immediate for the first, a wait you choose for the second.
- Quiet hours — hold overnight messages until morning.
- Personalising with variables — fill in each person’s name, phone and result link.
- The delivery SMS — what it takes to turn a text message on.
- Why a message didn’t arrive — the checks that explain almost every one.
