Automation

Automation is where a custom tells your systems that something happened — someone finished a quiz, a video became ready, an email went out — so you can act on it in whatever you already use.

The tab lists two kinds of automation. Built-in ones are the custom’s own emails and SMS: switch each one on or off and set its wait here, and write it in Delivery. Like everything in Delivery, those changes reach leads once you publish. The others are the outbound webhooks you add yourself.

In beta on Quiz customs

On an Outreach custom, the Automation tab is always there. On a Quiz custom it is still in beta and may not be visible on your account yet.

Outbound webhooks are also managed under Integrations → Webhooks, where you choose the custom each one belongs to. That screen is on every account.
