The camera placeholder
The camera bubble isn’t part of your design — it’s placed over the page when the video is made. So on a bare canvas there’s nothing telling you your headline is about to end up underneath your own face.
The camera placeholder is that marker: a dashed outline in the shape your camera will be, sitting where your camera will sit.
Turn it on
Section titled “Turn it on”It isn’t in the modules. It’s the camera button at the top right of the canvas, beside Test — click it to show the placeholder, click it again to hide it.
The first time you turn it on, a round marker appears in the bottom-left corner. After that it stays where you leave it.
Move it and shape it
Section titled “Move it and shape it”Drag it like any other block, and pull a corner to resize it. Select it and the toolbar above the page offers three shapes — Round, Square and Free — the same shapes the recorder uses.
Where you put it isn’t just a note to yourself: when you start recording, the camera opens in that spot, at that size, in that shape. You can still move it while recording.
Hiding it changes nothing
Section titled “Hiding it changes nothing”The placeholder never appears on a real result page or in a video — it only exists in this editor. Hiding it is a view preference for you alone: it doesn’t delete the marker, doesn’t move the camera, and doesn’t affect anyone else on your team.
